Rescue:

Many thanks to Shanna for meeting a rescue team to pick up 2 cocker spaniels. These dogs were released from a mill in MO. One is blind and both are very happy to be starting a new life.

2nd Annual Ruff! Life Wine Tasting:

NMDR volunteers, dogs, supporters and friends will be enjoying an evening of great wine, food, and fun at the Norris Penrose Event Center, Fri. 8/6, from 6:00-9:00PM. Tickets are now available on the website. Hope to see you there.



TCF Bank, behind Gunther Toodys at Woodmen and Powers in Colorado Springs, will be hosting a dog social from 12-3, this Sat, 7/24. Volunteers and foster dogs are needed to help staff the NMDR table. Please contact Laurie if you are able to help. mzlauries@aol.com.



Agility Club/NMDR Fund Raiser :

The Agility Club from Denver needs about 15 volunteers a day for three days during the dates listed below, to assist in running the agility trials. The club pays $35/volunteer for each of the three days . All volunteers would receive training and lunch. This event is scheduled for 9/17-19 at the Douglas County Fairgrounds in Castle Rock. NMDR in Magazine Article:

The Colorado Springs In Style magazine published an article titled ,To the Rescue: Giving Dogs a New Leash on Life. Theresa did an interview with the author and NMDR is one of the 4 organizations featured. The pictures were provided by NMDR, including one of our own volunteers, Paige Ashby!
