Hope
Paige's Hope is, well, Hopeless. She is doing great in a spoiled rotten kinda way. She has certainly acclimated to our family in a wonderful way. Hope has and is growing at a very healthy rate. She is now about 12 pounds and she is 3 feet long when in her favorite position (stretched across our bed). Her personality is very unique. She is so stubborn that we would not be able to stand it if she didn't look so cute being that way. She LOVES to play. She is forever, non stop, full on action. I am not complaining, I need the exercise. She is learning every day. Yesterday she discovered peanut butter. She has found the water at the lake to be fun. She has a little life jacket for the boat and she fears no fish. She goes to Doggy Day Care on occasion to help her be more sociable and she seems to really enjoy herself. We have a great day care/boarding facility here called 'Sit Stay And Play' that really pampers their animals. The staff at Feeders Supply just loves her. She is really looking beautiful since her 1st grooming. She still tilts her head at every little noise. She is not quite a lap dog yet, but we are working on it. Our favorite vet has been on maternity leave since we got Hope, but she is going to spay her and microchip her on the 9th. I will take some more recent pics and send them with the spay documents.
We were very blessed with Hope. It was amazing from the very beginning to see how everything worked out. Then we realized after she made it home that she had been very well nurtured prior to our adoption. She is quite the perfect puppy and I can't imagine any more fulfilling pet. She now has a bed in every room of the house (not that she uses any of them) and her toy count has increased exponentially (including dish towels, socks, and anything else she decides to take a liking to). I can imagine how you must miss her. She has a way of getting into your heart. Several of the little girls from our church have tried to talk us into giving her up. NOT A CHANCE!!! Well, I could write more but I guess I'll stop here. Thanks again for all you've done.
