“Hi folks! For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Harley and I’m a puppy mill survivor. ‘Harley to the Rescue’ is a fundraising campaign that was created early in 2013. My goal was to raise enough money to send National Mill Dog Rescue on a mission to save puppy mill dogs. Not only did we raise enough money to rescue 64 dogs, we also raised enough money to provide them the veterinary care they needed. So we continued to fundraise and were able to save more dogs, and now, after several rescues more than 700 dogs have been saved from puppy mills through the efforts of this campaign!”
“We will not stop here, with the help of my best buddy, Teddy, we will continue to fundraise. All donations will be designated specifically for National Mill Dog Rescue to fund rescues. CLICK HERE to donate!”
“NMDR has rescued more than 10,500 dogs from puppy mills over the past 8 years, and because they rely solely on donations/grants, they can only rescue as many dogs as their funding will allow. They saved dogs just like me who spent their lives living in small wire cages; never having the opportunity to run and play, not knowing what a soft bed is, or the kind touch of a human hand. Some dogs never see the sunshine, and the saddest thing – they never experience love. I know all about this because I spent 10 years living like that. Teddy and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts!”
